I’ve been working in the photography industry for more than 20 years now (yikes!) and one thing that is changed in the last few years is that businesses are doing away with generic stock photography and choosing custom photography. This means that these sessions are tailored to their exact needs. We have become so visual and we tend to make decisions with our eyes. This is why our custom branding photo sessions are so popular and play an important role in delivering the personality of your brand.
This is Susan Taylor, a local real estate agent here in Markham. She was hosting a seminar and really wanted to hire us to take photos of her speaking to an audience. She had a list of shots that she would like for her website and social media platforms. So while she was speaking we captured the action shots and then we finished off our session using the gorgeous rooms at the Village Hive, for our staged setups and headshots.
I am a member of the co-working space www.thevillagehive.ca and because I am a member I have access to many areas for these personal branding photo sessions sessions. A beautiful office, boardroom, large work space with desks and lounge area that are beautifully decorated. During the warmer months we use the outside of this historic building that is packed with character as a backdrop as well.
